Ski and explore Slovenia’s Julian Alps without any ski races — just beautiful skiing, cultural experiences, and Italian-Slovenian cuisine

With craggy dolomite spires in the Julian Alps, alpine waters of Lake Bled and fresh seafood dishes, Slovenia offers an impressive array of landscapes and flavors reflecting it’s location as a European crossroads. This stunning corner of the Alps is nestled next to Italy and Austria and is quickly becoming a popular ski destination.

Stay in a boutique hotel in Planica, Slovenia a small ski town that has top-notch cross-country skiing infrastructure and recently hosted the 2023 Nordic World Championships. Much skiing awaits you during this special trip! Towering peaks surround the groomed trails. Your trip to Planica also wouldn’t be complete without a cruise through their ski tunnel.

When you’re not skiing, go sledding at Lago di Fusine, visit Slovenia's iconic Lake Bled, and dine at some of our favorite mountain huts. An alpine ski day at Monte Lussari is also an option and highly recommended. Throughout the week, enjoy the support and insights from your local trip leaders.
