Discover two of the top ski destinations in the Alps: the lakeside community of Pertisau, Austria and Switzerland’s scenic Engadin Valley. Ski past beautiful Lake Achensee and into the area’s Three Valleys surrounded by Tyrol's impressive Karwendel mountains before relaxing at your hotel’s extensive wellness areas. Continue your journey in Switzerland where you can relax in Samedan’s famous Mineral Spa. Enjoy cuisine from across the region at trailside huts recommended by your local trip leaders or at your hotel with your travel companions. This is a great beginner-friendly trip, with more flat trails than any other sight-skiing trip.

Achensee & Engadin Sight-Skiing Trip

Ski and explore the community of Pertisau, Austria on Lake Achensee and Switzerland’s beautiful Engadin Valley.

Spend 9 days in two of the top cross country ski destinations in the Alps: Achensee and Engadin. Start with three nights in the lakeside village of Pertisau on Achensee Lake, exploring and skiing the trails in Achensee's Three Valleys, with several destination huts to stop for lunch and relaxation.

Afterwards, travel on to Samedan in Switzerland's Engadin Valley for 5 nights in the heart of the village, a short walk from the ski trails. Take the Muottas Muragl funicular into the mountains for lunch and a stunning view of the Engadin. Ski your way over lakes on flat valley trails, meander through the pine forests or even ski the gradual climb to the base of the Morteratsch Glacier. For alpine skiers, you may wish to spend a day (or two!) skiing at the famous St Moritz ski resort. Finish your day relaxing at your hotels’ wellness areas in Austria and in Samedan's 5-story communal mineral bath spa. In the evening, raise a glass from your hotels’ extensive wine collection. Relax along the way, as you enjoy the included transportation and the support of your local trip leaders.
