After breakfast, travel to Bolzano — a drive of a little more than 4 hours. You’ll be driving one of my favorite routes, through the village of San Candido, past Toblach and the World Cup Stadium, past Antholz — host of the Olympic Biathlon Events, even through Bruneck — one of your favorite villages, and past Brixen where we spent time exploring the vineyards with the Collins’ during my birthday celebration.
As I’ll be with Courtney and Kevin in Seiser Alm, there’s no big rush for you to get to Bolzano. I’d aim to arrive there by 4:00 pm at the latest.
Park your card somewhere in Bolzano (parking garages are best in big cities, so you don’t have to navigate the rules of street parking). I’ll let you know when I depart Seiser Alm, which is about an hour drive from Bolzano. That will give you at least a 45 min warning for getting to the Bolzano Airport. I’ll meet you at the airport and can collect you both and your luggage from the rental car return. Let’s aim for meeting around 4:00 pm, but it may be a little later.
From there, we can all drive to Innsbruck together! There will surely be lots to catch up on. I can’t wait!
