Overview
Travel to Oberammergau, Germany. Lumi will be in touch with you about the specifics of your transfer to Oberammergau before your trip. Please review those logistics for how you'll travel to Oberammergau, as guests will be arriving from different areas.

Arrive in Oberammergau
Your hotel in Oberammergau is located about a 5 minute walk from the finish of the König Ludwig Lauf. After you check into your room, you can walk to the finish line, then ski to the start of tomorrow's race (~5 km) on a flat trail along the Ammer River. You may also choose to relax in your hotel's wellness area or stroll through town. The late afternoon is yours to enjoy on your own.

You'll also have time to visit the race expo to pick up your bib. The expo is located on the same street as your hotel, only about a 5 minute walk away. As the König Ludwig Lauf is relatively small, the race expo is not as extensive as at many other Worldloppet events, so you should be able to pick up your bib in just a few minutes.

This walking map shows the route from Hotel Böld to the bib pickup at the Ammergauer Haus (north) and from Hotel Böld to the finish of the König Ludwig Lauf (south), where you can preview tomorrow’s race trail.

6:00 PM - Welcome Reception
Meet your trip leader and travel companions for a welcome reception at the hotel. Get to know your travel companions and review logistics for the races this weekend.
Your trip leader will take care of your race skis tonight, so that you can get a good night's sleep before the races this weekend.

7:00 PM - Dinner
After the welcome reception and pre-race meeting, head to dinner with your travel companions to continue your conversations. Guten appetit!
After dinner, head to bed whenever you're ready. Gute Nacht!
