Happy Thanksgiving! As you gather to celebrate with friends and family, it’s a good time to reflect on the history of the holiday and how you like to celebrate it. This Thanksgiving has me looking forward to dining with Lumi guests at Chef Sean Sherman’s popular Minneapolis restaurant, Owamni on our Minneapolis World Cup trip this February.

Two years ago, I rode in the Transalp mountain bike stage race through Austria, Italy and Switzerland (all in one day!) and wrote about it in the New Moon Blog. It was easily one of the most scenic and memorable days I’ve ever had on a bike. Ever since that day, I’ve been dreaming of going back to Lago di Resia and Nauders on the Italian and Austrian border for a more leisurely ride. Last weekend, my dream came true.
