A TYPICAL DAY

This is your vacation. We hope that you can enjoy it at your leisure. It is a self-guided trip, but we are here to support you along the way. We recommend reviewing the itinerary daily, ideally at dinner the night before.

A typical day always starts with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Your breakfasts are included daily and typically available from 7:30 - 10:00 am. Your daily itinerary that we share about a month before your trip starts has details about your included lunches and dinners. We also share recommendations for meals that are not included in your daily itinerary.

Each day, you are free to ski at your leisure. Your hotels are all within walking distance of the ski trails, or we have recommendations for how to travel by public transport to the trail. Most of the trails where you ski have huts or restaurants where you can stop for a warm lunch.

Some hotels have access to wellness areas, many including a pool and sauna. If you would like to book a massage or treatment during your stay, you can book that with the hotel directly, or let us know several days in advance. The hotel recommends booking at least a week in advance, though you may be able to find times on shorter notice as well.

Each of your hotels is also within walking distance of town, so you may also choose to explore your surroundings on your own. If you would like to do other activities outside our planned itinerary, please let us know. We can help facilitate other experiences, such as alpine skiing, during your trip.

Dinners typically start between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM at your hotel, with several options for meals. As most ski hotels in the Europe host guests for a week at a time, it is common to rotate the menu so that guests have new choices nightly. Restaurant options in the towns where you are staying outside of hotels are limited. If you choose to try other restaurants during the trip, we are happy to share recommendations.

Drinks or other charges at the hotel are not included in the trip cost. They can simply be charged to your room and paid for at checkout.

When moving between hotels, you will be using public transportation or taxis. More detailed information about each day can be found in your daily itinerary.
